Josh's 32nd Birthday!

The girls LOVE celebrating birthdays...especially when it's their daddy's birthday! They couldn't wait to help him open up his presents...
Happy Birthday Daddy!! We LOVE you!!
That evening our family and friends joined us for dinner on the patio at Simmer...we had so much fun celebrating Josh!
What a crew! We are so thankful for these friendships!

Easter 2014

On Good Friday we had an Easter Egg Lunch Hunt with our playgroup friends! It was such a beautiful day and the girls had a blast hunting for their lunch!
On Saturday we went to the Coppell City Egg Hunt. It was crazy...tons of eggs and tons of kids (and parents) running for the same eggs! Poor June only got 1 egg...
We gave the girls their Easter baskets from Josh and I on Saturday evening since I had to be at church very early on Easter morning. The confetti eggs were a huge hit with Lucy!
Not so much with June...
But she eventually warmed up to the whole idea...
After a very busy and successful morning at church on Easter Sunday, we went to GiGi and Pops house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt!
Jewelz came too and so did Jimmy, Jill, Kalie and Cole. I love that our families can celebrate holidays together...and actually have a good time!
The girls had so much fun hunting eggs...
And June managed to only consumed pink Peeps for lunch...I'd call that a success!

Happy Easter from The Rives!!! We are tremendously thankful that Jesus conquered the grave! And as Lucy learned to say this year..."He is not here; He has risen!"
