Happy 3rd birthday Lucy Kate Rives! You are our absolute joy and delight in life. What a privilege it has been to be your mama for the past 3 years. 3 years...it's hard to believe. They've gone by in a blink. I pray that we get to celebrate many, many, many more birthdays together, sweet one. This picture was taken at preschool on the day your class celebrated your birthday. And it pretty much brings me to tears. I don't think a picture has ever captured you so perfectly as this one does.
