Meet the "newest addition" to our family, 9 year old Agness Banda...Agness is 1 of 60 children that now live at Family Legacy's Tree of Life Children's Village! 4 of the 25 community homes at The Village officially opened this summer, providing a haven of hope and light to the orphans of Zambia, Africa. Josh and I are "sponsoring" Agness, allowing her to live full time at The Village. Our sponsorship provides Agness with the very best care...amazing Godly house moms, 3 nutritious meals and 2 snacks per day, full medical care from the best medical establishment in Lusaka along with health insurance, clothes, a great education 7 hours a day, salaries for the teachers (who are experienced and extremely well-qualified), one-on-one counseling for an hour each week, 17 security staff to make sure the children are safe 24-7, and a male and a female pastor who both serve full-time to help lead and disciple the children. How cool is that?!! Josh met Agness for the first time this summer and immediately fell in love with her. I can't wait to meet her next time I'm in Zambia! She is just a doll!
