Sorry I've been MIA over the past week and a half. When we got back from Colorado last weekend, I hit the ground running getting ready for Ali and Brent's wedding. I've been in Austin since Wednesday. We got home this afternoon and have been busy putting the Christmas decorations away, finally. The wedding was a huge success last night....I am uploading all of my pictures now and will post some of my favorites tomorrow. Ali is one of my co-workers at DFW Events (and a dear friend) and Brent is a good friend of ours from college...he was one of Josh's roommates at A&M. Their wedding was unbelievable...such a magical evening!
Since I'm SO late, I must wish everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome 2010! I'm looking forward to seeing what all this year brings our way. I pray that it's a year full of joy, laughter and blessings for you all! We were in Colorado on New Years Eve...my favorite place to ring in the new year! We enjoyed dinner at Eddyline, a fantastic new pizza joint in Buena Vista, followed by a quite evening at the cabin playing cards and eating dessert!

Right before we were about to enjoy the bread pudding I made, the electricity went out. We couldn't see a thing! Here is Jill, Josh and BJ preparing our dessert bowls in the dark with a flashlight.

After about an hour in the dark, the lights came back on just in time to watch the ball drop in NYC! Happy New Year!!
